Abdulmohsen Al Hokair Group for Tourism and Development on Wednesday opened its MENA Plaza Albarsha hotel in Dubai, the company’s chief executive Sami Al Hokair said in a statement.

The hotel includes 90 rooms and suites with various facilities.

Al Hokair will continue to expand its presence in the region, the CEO said, adding that the company aims to invest in high-growth markets such as Dubai.

MENA Hotels regional manager, Fadi Mazkour, said that the group expects to reach 18 hotels with over 2,000 rooms by the end of 2018, backed by the massive demand for quality mid-market hotels in the region.

Established in 2008, the MENA Hotels chain has a portfolio of eight properties, including five in Saudi Arabia, two in Jordan, and one in the United Arab Emirates.
