Takween invites shareholders to attend seventh EGA

Takween Advanced Industries’ (Takween) board of directors has invited shareholders to attend the seventh extraordinary general assembly (EGA) meeting at the company’s headquarters on Thursday, Dec. 28, the firm said in a statement today on Tadawul.

The EGA will discuss and vote on amending the company’s articles of association concerning the company’s activities, the preferred stock, and the board of directors’ authorities and remuneration.

Shareholders will also vote on the company’s updated governance system, which includes the regulations of the audit committee and the nominations and remuneration committee, in addition to the criteria and procedures of the board membership.

Registered shareholders at the Saudi Securities Depository Center (Edaa) by the end of the trading day prior to the EGA can attend the meeting, or they can authorize another person to attend on their behalf in accordance with the rules and regulations.

Shareholders can also vote online through Tadawulaty website from Sunday, Dec. 12 to Dec. 19, the statement added.
