SABB Takaful Co.’s board of directors decided on Wednesday to dismiss the company’s current chief executive, Stephen Cosgrove, effective from Dec. 14, 2017.
The board has named Hussam Malaekah as acting CEO effective from the same date, the insurer said in a bourse statement.
The decision is pending regulatory approvals.
The new acting CEO has over 19 years of work experience in the banking and insurance sectors and is currently the head of digital strategy and acting customer care manager at the company.
