The Saudi Ministry of Housing, in cooperation with the Real Estate Development Fund (REDF) has announced the launch of the Sakani II program for 2018, which includes 300,000 housing and financing products.
These products include 125,000 housing units to be built under the public-private partnership (PPP) model, 75,000 residential land plots, and 100,000 financing facilities in partnership with the REDF, banks and financial entities.
REDF seeks to fulfill the needs of 50 percent of eligible beneficiaries by 2018, CEO Khaled Al Amoudi said, cited by state-owned news agency SPA.
The housing ministry said earlier that the Sakani I program would be completed in December.
In August, the ministry launched the seventh phase of its Sakani housing program that included the allocation of 28,051 housing products.
