Saudi Paper Manufacturing Co.’s (SPM) board of directors has appointed the company’s chief executive, Hassan Asiree, as managing director effective Dec. 24, 2017, until the end of the current term on April 26, 2018.
Asiree’s appointment comes after Saleh Al Jarboo resigned from his post as managing director on Oct. 1, 2017, SPM said in a statement to Tadawul.
The new managing director has been the company’s CEO since Feb. 2017, and represents SPM at the board of several affiliate firms.
The decision is not final until the general assembly’s approval, the statement added.
