UAE fuel prices to rise 5% in February

Petrol and diesel prices in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will rise by at least 5 percent in February, according to the Ministry of Energy.

Starting February 1, Super 98 will cost AED 2.36 per liter (up 5 percent from January), Special 95 will cost AED 2.25 (up 6 percent), and E Plus will be priced at AED 2.17 (up 6 percent).

The cost of diesel will increase by 7 percent month-on-month to AED 2.49 per liter.

The prices are inclusive of 5 percent value-added tax.
