Jazan Energy and Development Co.’s (JAZADCO) board of directors has approved today to appoint Mohammed Omar Saad Al Ayidi as an independent board member as of Feb. 1, the firm said in a statement to Tadawul.
The new board member will replace independent board member Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Al Rasheed for the current term that ends on April 13, 2019.
The appointment is still subject to the general assembly’s approval in the next meeting.
Al Ayidi enjoys a vast experience as he previously served at the World Bank, the Capital Market Authority (CMA), KPMG, and Ernst Young. He is also a board member at several companies and authorities.
