Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco) has tendered two offshore projects as part of its Long-Term Agreement (LTA) program, MEED has reported, citing unnamed sources.

Contractors are invited to bid for an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for ten oil and gas jackets that will be located across the Marjan, Safaniya, and Abu Safah fields.

They have also been invited to bid for an EPC contract for nine oil platforms in the Zuluf field.

The tender documents were released on March 5, but the bid deadline was not disclosed.

The LTA program is focused on installing facilities at offshore oil fields in the Gulf.

LTA-approved contractors include Italy’s Saipem, India’s Larsen & Toubro Hydrocarbon Engineering, UK’s Subsea 7, Saudi Araboa’s Dynamic Industries, US’ McDermott International, and the UAE’s National Petroleum Construction Co.

In February, MEED reported that Aramco is expected to tender a contract to upgrade two offshore platforms in May.

Earlier this month, the CEO of Malaysia-based Eversendai Offshore said that the company would deliver 10 offshore jackets for Aramco before the end of the year.
