8 things to consider as Tadawul starts trading

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Monday.

1) Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Finance sold SAR 3.95 billion worth of domestic sukuk under the Saudi Arabian government SAR-denominated sukuk program.

2) Saudi Arabia’s top dairy producer Almarai Company approved a five-year business plan for 2019-2023 period, allocating a capital investment of SAR 10.6 billion ($2.8 billion).

3) The Red Sea tourism project has been incorporated as a closed joint-stock company, wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), the Ministry of Culture and Information said.

4) Bank Aljazira recorded a 66 percent drop year-on-year in credit provisions to SAR 16 million in Q1 2018, data compiled by Argaam showed.

5) Yanbu National Petrochemical Co.’s (YANSAB) board of directors recommended a 17.5 percent cash dividend for H1 2018, at SAR 1.75 per share, amounting to SAR 984.37 million.

6) Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co.’s pipe segment turned to net losses of SAR 32 million in Q1 2018, after posting net profit of SAR 10.8 million and SAR 17.2 million in the third and fourth quarters of 2017, respectively, data compiled by Argaam showed.

7) Al Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. is likely to report mid-single digit growth in revenue this year, backed by its online travel sector, Falcom Financial Services said.

8) The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) implemented changes to its opening and closing price mechanism on May 27, Mohammed Al Rumaih, chief sales and marketing officer at Tadawul, told Argaam.
