Saudi Arabia’s ministry of labor and social development has extended the deadline for companies to pay the expatriate work license fees for six months, as of Aug. 1, with an option to pay the bill on three installments.
In February, the ministry extended the deadline for six months with the same installment option.
The ministry launched the collective bill in January to collect expat work license fees from private sector companies, ranging SAR 300-400 per month, according to the number of expatriate workers hired by the firm.
The collective invoice includes the difference in work license fees issued for expats before the beginning of the year and extends after Jan. 1, 2018, without taking into account the expatriate workers who permanently left the country or changed services before Jan. 1.
