Saudi air defense forces on Tuesday morning intercepted and destroyed a missile fired towards Najran from Yemeni territory, a statement on the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said.
The missile was fired by Houthi forces and aimed to target civilian areas, said Colonel Turki al-Maliki, spokesperson of the Arab coalition fighting in Yemen.
Houthi rebels have so far fired 183 ballistic missiles towards Saudi Arabia, the statement said.
