Hotel management company Rotana has announced the opening date of its latest hotel addition in Jeddah under the “Centro by Rotana” brand.
Officially opening next month (September), Centro Salama is the second hotel to open in Jeddah and the fifth in the Kingdom.
“The new hotel comes as part of the group’s strategic plan to expand the Kingdom’s hospitality market and seize opportunities offered by this growing and booming sector,” the company having presence in n the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, said in a statement.
Religious tourism in the Kingdom is forecast to attract more than 30 million pilgrims by 2030 and the Kingdom’s GDP will witness an increased contribution of 300 billion SAR from the tourism industry by 2026.
Currently, Rotana has a portfolio five hotels in the major cities of Saudi Arabia.
