Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Sunday.

1)  The Debt Management Office at Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Finance raised $2 billion under its second international issuance as part of the government's dollar-denominated sukuk program.

2) The Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) appointed eight banks for its potential sukuk issue.

3) Saudi Arabia will begin issuing tourist visas soon, Prince Sultan bin Salman, President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH), told Alriyadh newspaper.

   

4) Saudi International Petrochemical Co (Sipchem) will suspend operations at its International Methanol Co. (IMC) starting Sept. 16 for a scheduled turnaround.

5) The Saudi General Authority for Competition (GAC) approved the economic concentration arising from BATIC Investment and Logistics Co.’s (BATIC) acquisition of a number of companies and assets.

6) The value of real estate transactions in Saudi Arabia in the year ending Sept. 11 (Hijri year 1439) dropped 15 percent year-on-year, or SAR 31.1 billion, to SAR 172.01 billion, Saudi Justice Ministry's data showed.

7) Riyadh has been ranked 69th among the world's top 100 financial centers, according to The Global Financial Centres Index 2018 ranking.

8) Saudi Chemical Co. subsidiary AJA Pharma launched the commercial operations in pills and liquids production lines at its new plant in Hail.

9) Saudi Arabia published the regulations of the General Real Estate Authority on its official gazette.

10) The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) raised its 2019 price forecast for Brent and West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude by $3 a barrel from its August month’s outlook.
