Arab National Bank’s board of directors has appointed Ziyad Akrouk as board member (non-executive) to represent the Arab Bank (Jordon) effective from September 19, 2018, the bank said in a bourse statement.
The bank had previously obtained Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority’s non-objection on this appointment.
The decision, however, will be presented to the coming general assembly meeting for approval.
Mr. Ziyad Anwar Abdel rahman Akrouk serves as Head of Group Risk at Arab Bank plc since 2018. He also served as a CEO and director of the Europe Arab Bank plc (London) from 2011 to 2018, the statement added.
The new member replaces Nemah Elias Sabbagh who quite for being busy with other business.
