GO's lawsuit against CITC postponed to Nov. 5

02/10/2018 Argaam

Riyadh’s administrative court postponed yesterday the lawsuit filed by Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Co.’s (GO) against the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) to Nov. 5, the telecom firm said in a statement to Tadawul today.

GO’s lawyer has submitted a memorandum to the court, and CITC has requested time to respond, the statement said.

GO filed a lawsuit in August, seeking to reverse the CITC’s decision in May to reject the telco’s request for a unified license. The license allows operators to offer integrated telecom services including landline.
