The privatization plan of the Kingdom’s flour mills is on track, Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Al-Fares, governor of the Saudi Grains Organization (SAGO), told Argaam's sister website Akhbaar24.com.
Al-Fares was speaking on the sidelines of the Saudi International Bakery and Pastry Expo.
The expo is expected to be of great benefit for the local market, he said, noting that it aims to help the industry reduce waste and produce higher quality products.
The event has attracted 50 producers from countries such as Russia, Germany, Belgium and France.
