GOSI holds SAR 102 bln worth of Saudi stocks
Saudi Arabia’s General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) holds over SAR 102 billion worth of stocks in the domestic market, the organization said in its annual report for 2017.
GOSI has shares in various local companies and banks, in order to diversify the investment portfolio and raise returns to meet its increasing obligations towards beneficiaries.
The organization has also invested over SAR 6 billion in 17 wholly owned real estate projects as at the end of 2017. These include residential and commercial complexes and large investment projects distributed among the main regions in the Kingdom, in addition to several other projects currently underway.
