Saudi holdings of US Treasuries rise by $6.6 bln in September

Saudi Arabia’s holdings of US Treasuries increased by $6.6 billion month-on-month to $176.1 billion in September, the highest level since July 2015, new data released by the US Treasury showed.

The Kingdom maintained its position as the 10th largest holder of US debt in September.

Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) increased its US debt holdings to $60 billion in the same period.
