Point-of-sale (POS) transactions in Saudi Arabia jumped 18 percent to SAR 19.9 billion in November from SAR 16.8 billion a year earlier, figures from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) show.
Data showed that 98.4 million transactions were processed through nearly 348,000 points-of-sales in shopping malls, retail stores, and pharmacies.

Cash withdrawals grew by 2 percent year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 59.6 billion through 174.8 million transactions processed across 18,600 ATMs in November.
