Aljazira Mawten REIT is not planning to invest in real estate development projects, fund manager Aljazira Capital said in a bourse statement on Wednesday.
The REIT has no liquidity problems and is not looking to sell assets in the near term.
Meanwhile, the fund manager is studying investment in new assets to reduce impairment risks.
Aljazira Mawten REIT could face zero risks from interest rate volatility, as it does not aim to obtain any murabaha facility or finance, the fund manager said.
For client selection, the fund leases assets to major clients only, it added in the fund’s risk assessment report for 2018-19.
