Saudi Arabia set to sign several pacts with China

Saudi Ambassador to China Turki bin Mohammed Al-Madi has stressed that the visit of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to China embodies deep-rooted relations and strategic partnership between the two countries in all fields.

The Crown Prince, who arrived in China on Thursday, will head the Saudi side in the high-level joint committee between the Kingdom and China at its third session in Beijing, Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday.

He also pointed out that at the conclusion of the committee's meetings, a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding will be signed in the fields of energy, investment, transport and technology.

Separately, Saudi Cultural Attaché in China Dr. Fahd bin Majed Al-Shareef pointed out that the Cultural Mission is working to enhance the exchange of knowledge, culture and heritage between the two countries by sending students on scholarship to China and attracting more Chinese students into Saudi universities.

He also disclosed that there are many plans to increase the volume of knowledge exchange between the two countries.
