Saudi International Petrochemical Co. (Sipchem) on March 1 resumed operations at its polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) plant after scheduled maintenance, the company said in a bourse filing.
The relevant financial impact will reflect on earnings of Q1 2019.
Earlier last month, Sipchem started a three-week shutdown of its PBT plant for scheduled maintenance. The PBT plant is owned by Sipchem Chemical Company; which is a 95% subsidiary of Sipchem.
The PBT facility is located in Saudi Arabia’s Jubail Industrial City.
