Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Commerce and Investment has approved the amendments to the rules and regulations of licensing zakat and tax service providers.
Under the new rules, zakat and tax services can include preparing declarations and consultations, without providing auditing services.
Licensed zakat and tax service providers have to be a Saudi citizen who’s accredited and works full time on the job, however, he can work as a part time service provider in the first three years of profession only.
