Sahara International Petrochemical Co. (Sipchem) is planning the shutdown of three of its units for scheduled maintenance starting June 23, the company said in a statement to Tadawul on Sunday.
The Acetic Acid Plant of International Acetate Company (IAC) will shut down for six weeks as of June 23, 2019; Vinyl Acetate Monomer Plant of the International Vinyl Acetate Company (IVC) will shut down on June 25, 2019 for three weeks; while Carbon Monoxide Plant of International Gases Company (IGC) will shut down on July 01, 2019 for four weeks.
The relevant financial impact will reflect on Q3 2019 financial results.
