The drop was mainly due to a decline in gross profit margin to 25% from 35% in the same period last year, driven by higher shipping, transportation, and storage expenses. General and administrative expenses also rose about 30%, weighing on the operating profit margin, which fell to 7% from 21% a year ago.

EBITDA slipped to SAR 6.24 million from SAR 10.8 million in the prior-year period.

On the other hand, revenue rose 2% to SAR 34.7 million from SAR 34.1 million in the same period last year, partially offsetting the decline.

Compared to H1 2024, net profit fell 59.1% from SAR 5.9 million.

Shareholders’ equity, no minority interest, reached SAR 47.9 million at the end of H1 2025, compared with SAR 50 million a year earlier.
