Saudi Research and Media Group (SRMG) incurred a net loss of SAR 9.2 million for the first nine months of 2025, versus SAR 316.7 million profit in the year-earlier period.

These losses were attributed to a 19.02% decline year-on-year (YoY) in revenue during the nine-month period, due to lower revenue from the public relations and advertising segment and the publishing and visual and digital content segment. This was in addition to a fall in revenues from the printing and packaging segment resulting from the reduction of printing business operations and reduced revenues from the packaging operations as a result of transferring certain operations from the UAE to Saudi Arabia.

 

Moreover, the company’s gross profit fell by 47.46%.

The company logged a SAR 30.43 million net loss in Q3 2025, against a profit of SAR 148.46 million in Q3 2024.

 

Sequentially, net loss widened 212.3% from SAR 9.74 million in Q2 2025.

 

Total shareholders’ equity, after minority interest, stood at SAR 3.25 billion by Sept. 30, 2025, compared to SAR 3.34 billion in the prior-year period.
