US oil rig count declines, says Baker Hughes

A new Baker Hughes report showed a decline in the US oil rig count for the first time after five consecutive weeks.  

 

The number of US oil rigs decreased by two in the week ended Oct. 3 to 422.

 

Meanwhile, the number of natural gas rigs increased by one to 118.
