US oil rig count steady at 418: Baker Hughes

The number of active oil rigs in the US was unchanged at 418 during the week ended Oct. 17, following two consecutive weeks of declines, Baker Hughes data showed.

Meanwhile, the number of natural gas rigs increased by one unit to reach 121 during the same period.
