OPEC+ committee keeps oil demand forecast unchanged in 2022: report

The OPEC+ Joint Technical Committee kept its demand forecast for next year unchanged at 4.2 million barrels per day (bpd), Reuters reported, citing an unnamed source familiar with the matter.

 

The committee also slashed its forecasts for global oil demand growth this year to 5.7 million bpd from 5.8 million.

 

The OPEC+ ministers are set to meet Nov. 4 to discuss December output.
