The signing ceremony
Jeddah Central Development Co. (JCD) signed a 20-year strategic partnership agreement with Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli football clubs, at a total annual value of SAR 100 million for each club, with the possibility of reviewing the agreement’s terms and conditions every five years.
The two agreements fall under the company's objectives to promote the lifestyle in Jeddah and enhance sports events in the city, JCD said, adding that this is an important step to create a global destination in the center of Jeddah.
The company confirmed that the contracts were signed during two partnership ceremonies between the JCD and the two sports clubs, in the presence of the company’s CEO Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saleem, Chairman of Al-Ittihad’s board of directors Anmar Alhailae, and Chairman of Al-Ahli’s board of directors .
The Central Jeddah project will contribute to the development of more than 10 quality projects in vital sectors – such as tourism, sports, culture and recreation – and modern residential areas with 17,000 housing units with various hotel projects providing more than 2,700 rooms.
