Ministry of Investment sees public input on draft investment law

The Ministry of Investment announced offering the draft investment law, via the platform of the National Competitiveness Center, for consultation by the public, government agencies and the private sector.

 

The investment law is aimed to attract direct investments, boost the investment environment, maintain investor rights, and increase confidence in investing in the Kingdom by facilitating the procedures of direct investments. Furthermore, it seeks to achieve equal treatment between local and foreign investors, define investor rights and obligations, support the principle of competitive neutrality and fairness, and ensure equal opportunities in treating direct investments by public and private investors.

 

The ministry indicated that the poll starts today, April 5, and runs for a month till May 5, 2022.
