Jeddah slums committee begins to disburse slums demolition damages at SAR 1 bln

Jeddah slums committee started to deliver the first batch of the damages reaching SAR 1 billion for slums demolition.

 

The committee said in a statement received by Argaam that it will phase the disbursement of the damages for the remaining beneficiaries as per a time-bound plan, after the reassessment of the targeted neighborhoods and upon the citizens’ completion of the required procedures.

 

The compensation is part of the government’s Jeddah redevelopment project.
