Fintech Saudi says 90 firms active, 500 new requests received

The number of financial technology (Fintech) companies operating in Saudi Arabia reached nearly 90, according to Acting Fintech Saudi Director Nezar Alhaidar.

 

About 12 new companies entered the sector and at least 500 applications are currently with Fintech Saudi, Alhaidar told Al Eqtisadiah newspaper.

 

Meanwhile, he pointed out that the support of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) and the Capital Market Authority (CMA) has made the Kingdom a hub for innovation and development in the Fintech services and products sector.
