Ministry of Industry licenses 79 new factories worth SAR 3.1 bln in September

Saudi Arabia licensed 79 new factories at a total investment value of SAR 3.1 billion in September 2022, data issued by Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources showed.

 

The number of licensed workers in these factories reached 1,882. The total number of industrial facilities in Saudi Arabia reached 10,728.

 

The total number of factories that began actual production reached 68 in September with total investments of SAR 3.5 billion. These factories created 4,219 new job opportunities.

 

The total number of workers, who joined the industrial sector stood at 5,041.
