Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Mayor of the Riyadh Region

Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Mayor of the Riyadh Region, is confident that Riyadh will astonish the world with its mega projects that will serve as a global model in all fields.

 

Riyadh, he said, is currently working on a comprehensive transformation path with a clear strategy that stems from the ambitions of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. These ambitions are leading a major movement in the capital and are making progress in the smart city transformation index every day.

 

Prince Faisal made his comments during a panel discussion at the Kingdom’s first Global Smart City Forum, organized by the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). The forum is held in Riyadh on February 12-13.

 

“Riyadh will astonish everyone. Our ambition is very high, and we will achieve it. We are fortunate to have the elements that any city dreams of as well as a great leader, the Crown Prince,” Prince Faisal said.

 

“There are also amazing plans, programs and projects taking place in the city, and we are optimistic that Riyadh will be a role model for the world,” he added.
