AlSafi Danone fined SAR 1.25M on environmental violation

The National Center for Environmental Compliance imposed a penalty of SAR 1.25 million on AlSafi Danone Co. for an environmental violation.

 

The decision came after the company engaged in an activity that, directly or indirectly, caused soil pollution, negatively affected the use of it, or destroyed its natural properties in Al Kharj governorate.

 

In addition, the company did not take the appropriate measures and precautions to prevent soil pollution, the center noted.
