Registration begins for over 37,000 real estate plots in Makkah: RER

The Real Estate Registry (RER) started today, Dec. 8, receiving registration applications for 37,023 real estate plots in Makkah, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

 

Property owners within the benefited areas must register their properties by March 13, 2025, to avoid penalties and fines specified by the Real Estate Registration Law.

 

RER will issue a “Property Number” and an ownership deed for each registered unit, comprising its precise geographic location and owner data, besides property description, condition, rights, obligations, and all transactions. This will document ownership and property rights, enhancing the real estate sector’s sustainability.
