Oil tanks
Crude oil inventories in the United States rose during the seven-day period ended March 28.
According to data released by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), commercial crude oil inventories rose by 6.2 million barrels last week, while market expectations had indicated a decline of 700,000 barrels.
Gasoline inventories declined by 1.6 million barrels, while distillate stocks, which include diesel and heating oil, grew by 300,000 barrels.
