Al-Etihad Cooperative Insurance Co. received, on May 1, 2025, a report from Moody’s Investors Service confirming the company’s insurance financial strength rating at A3, with a “stable” outlook, according to a Tadawul statement.

The rating reflects several key strengths, most notably, the company’s solid market position, a strong brand and robust distribution capabilities that support growth.

Additionally, the insurer holds high-quality assets, underpinned by a conservative investment strategy, as shown by its relatively low ratio of high-risk assets to total shareholders’ equity.

The report also cited Al-Etihad’s strong capital adequacy levels and healthy profitability, with a five-year average return on capital of 7.7% in 2024, supported by a solid five-year average combined ratio of 95.2%.
