Riyadh Alromizan, CEO of Al Mawarid Manpower Co.
This will be despite the second quarter typically witnessing a seasonal dip in demand for retail services due to school examinations and preparations for the summer holiday.
In an interview with Argaam, Alromizan indicated that East Asian nationalities constitute the majority in the corporate segment, while African and East Asian nationalities dominate the retail segment.
He stressed that the company reflects the pulse of the Saudi labor market by providing its services across all regions of the Kingdom, with a greater focus in the most populated cities such as Riyadh, Dammam, and Jeddah.
Al Mawarid is facing increased competition, particularly in the retail services sector, while maintaining revenue growth by continuously improving service quality, the CEO said. This includes training workers both inside and outside the Kingdom before deployment, and developing diverse service packages that meet clients’ needs — whether VIP or economical, short- or long-term. In addition, it is upscaling service quality and improving the customer experience, he said.
Alromizan said that Al Mawarid is working on enhancing services for female workers through the employee app, extending customer service hours, increasing flexibility in handling customer requests, and adjusting pricing based on market variables and service demand. It is also collaborating with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development to combat the phenomenon of worker absenteeism.
Meanwhile, the average workforce figures across various sectors grew by about 25% year-on-year (YoY) in Q1 2025, which boosted revenue growth and improved utilization rates in the retail segment, the CEO said.
Alromizan said that the company saw 34% YoY revenue growth, driven by the increase in revenue from the corporate and retail segments by 38% and 21%, respectively.
The CEO highlighted that revenue from resident contracts in Q1 2025 reached SAR 76 million, while earnings from hourly-rental contracts stood at SAR 46 million.
According to Argaam’s data, Al Mawarid reported a net profit of SAR 29.9 million in Q1 2025, up 13% from SAR 26.4 million a year earlier.
