Iran on Saturday reopened its airspace to foreign airlines for overflights, but flights continued to be suspended in numerous parts of the country, particularly in Tehran, as the fifth day of the ceasefire with Israel passed.
Iran completely shut its airspace on June 13 following an unprecedented attack by Israel.
On Wednesday, flight services were gradually resumed, but only in eastern regions. Flights remained suspended across the rest of the country, particularly in the capital, Tehran, where both airports remain closed.
