Aldrees Petroleum and Transport Services Co.’s CEO, Abdulilah Aldrees, revealed that the number of fuel stations operated by the company reached around 1,200 fuel stations by the end of Q2 2025, with a fleet of nearly 600 fuel transport trucks.

Commenting on the financial results, Aldrees explained in an interview with Argaam that the year-on-year (YoY) rise in Q2 net profit was driven by stronger sales of Naqel and Petroleum segments, increased income from bank deposits and sukuk, and a pickup in other revenues. These increases offset weaker returns from the joint venture (JV) and higher marketing and selling costs, general and administrative (G&A) expenses, in addition to increased financing costs (FCs) and Zakat.

He elaborated on the decline in the JV investments, despite higher profits, due to higher G&A expenses and FCs; however, the overall impact on performance was limited.

Revenue surged 35% YoY in Q2 2025, supported by fuel station expansion and improved transportation pricing, supporting overall business growth, he added.

Petroleum segment’s sales hit SAR 6.02 billion in Q2, while NAQEL Express contributed SAR 194 million, bringing total revenue to SAR 6.21 billion.

Aldrees expects strong performance to continue in Q3 2025 and beyond.

According to Argaam’s data, Aldrees posted a 25% YoY profit increase to SAR 199.7 million in H1 2025, up from SAR 159.8 million. In Q2, profit rose 21% YoY to SAR 99.7 million.

The company’s number of stations recorded 1,147 as of Q1 2025.
