TMC Health appoints Khalid Al Hamdan as CEO & MD, effective from Sept. 4 

Twareat Medical Care Co. (TMC Health), listed on the Nomu-Parallel Market, said its board ended the assignment of Mohamed El Sayed as CEO, effective Sept. 4.

 

El Sayed will return to his role as Chief Financial Officer, the company said in a filing to Tadawul.

The board appointed Khalid Al Hamdan as CEO and Managing Director (MD), effective the same date, until the end of the current board term on May 10, 2029.

 

Al Hamdan, a former chief operating officer at TMC Health, has extensive experience in emergency medicine and healthcare management. He holds the American Board in Emergency Medicine and an executive MBA.

 

In a separate statement, the company said Al Hamdan stepped down as vice chairman while retaining his board membership. The board accepted his resignation and named non-executive director Tarek Al Hamdan as vice chairman.

 

In June, TMC Health’s board accepted the resignation of Amer Al-Amer as CEO and MD, effective June 21, and appointed El Sayed as acting CEO the following day, according to Argaam data. At the same meeting, Chairman Tarek Al Hamdan and Vice Chairman Saleh Mohammed Saleh Al-Mulhim also resigned their posts but remained board members, according to Argaam data.
