Maharah Human Resources Co. launched its environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy through 2030.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the framework is built on three core pillars: social, governance and environmental.

The social pillar focuses on empowering and developing employees and the wider workforce, enhancing well-being, providing a safe and healthy work environment, promoting diversity and inclusion, safeguarding human rights, and delivering high-quality, comprehensive services to clients and local communities.

The governance pillar emphasizes adherence to the highest standards of ethics and integrity, ensuring data security and privacy protection, and maintaining effective corporate governance practices. The environmental pillar centers on reducing environmental impact through climate action, improving resource and energy efficiency, and advancing waste management practices.

Maharah said the initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and related national targets, including the Saudi Green Initiative, as well as its own corporate growth strategy.

The company added that the plan underscores its commitment to sustainable development and applying the highest standards of responsibility across its business lines. It also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and incorporates leading international standards and local frameworks, highlighting a focus on talent development, diversity, employee well-being, community support, human rights protection, strong corporate governance and environmental sustainability.
