The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) initiated proceedings in over 17 criminal cases that involved employees of various ministries and government entities.
The authority's spokesperson confirmed that it continues to monitor and apprehend anyone who misappropriates public funds or exploits their position for personal gain or to harm the public interest, adding that it will hold them accountable even after their employment has ended, as financial and administrative corruption crimes are not subject to a statute of limitations.
The authority will continue to apply the law without leniency to those who violate it, he continued.
