HUMAIN, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) portfolio company, and Qualcomm Technologies announced today, Oct. 28, a strategic partnership to launch an advanced artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.
In a joint statement, the companies said the partnership will enable world-class inference services capable of efficiently running and generating outputs from smart models through the first fully optimized edge-to-cloud hybrid AI.
HUMAIN aims to operate servers with a total capacity of 200 megawatts (MWs) powered by Qualcomm’s AI200 and AI250 solutions starting in 2026, to provide high-performance inference services within the Kingdom and globally.
The initiative will allow government entities and enterprises to deploy AI capabilities at scale with high operational efficiency and competitive total cost of ownership.
The companies noted that the partnership will integrate ALLaM, the Arabic AI model developed in Saudi Arabia, with Qualcomm’s smart platforms—creating added value across various sectors.
They will also collaborate to develop customized AI solutions to serve the needs of public and private sector clients in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
According to the statement, Qualcomm’s AI200 and AI250 solutions deliver high-speed performance and advanced memory capacity at the server level within data centers, enabling efficient deployment of generative AI models. This marks a significant step toward comprehensive hybrid computing services—from edge to cloud—capable of meeting the needs of multiple industries.
The partnership underscores Saudi Arabia’s commitment to accelerating innovation and economic growth through the development of its national AI and semiconductor ecosystem.
It also reaffirms Qualcomm’s dedication to working with global partners to advance and scale AI adoption worldwide.
