Minister of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) Ahmad AlRajhi approved the regulatory rules for outsourcing expatriate labor services among establishments, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The new rules aim to enable establishments to outsource specific tasks performed by existing expatriate workers within the Kingdom, under the direct supervision of the service-providing establishment, via the “Ajeer” platform.

These rules will help organize the labor market and allow establishments to benefit from available regulatory solutions, including labor secondment permits issued via the “Ajeer” platform.

This step comes as part of the ministry’s efforts to improve labor market efficiency, strengthen compliance, and regulate contractual relationships to safeguard the rights of all parties, the ministry said.
