The strategic partnership between the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) and the transport and logistics sector has contributed to the employment of 74,000 Saudi citizens from 2020 to the first half of 2025.

The fund signed 12 specialized training agreements linked to employment in the sector during this period.

The total support allocated to these partnerships exceeded SAR 500 million, targeting the training of around 2,000 citizens. Additionally, the employment sustainability rate for those supported by the fund in the sector rose to 78%, state-run news agency SPA reported.

The fund’s efforts also enabled the transport and logistics sector to support several professional certifications in specialized fields, and to raise the support rate for certain occupations within the Employment Support program, covering up to 50% of the employee’s wage with a maximum of SAR 3,000. Around 4,000 citizens have benefited from on-the-job training programs in the sector.

These results reflect the fund’s strategic role in empowering the Saudi labor market and supporting its transition toward promising and specialized sectors. They also highlight its ongoing efforts to build a sustainable national workforce capable of ensuring the Kingdom’s long-term economic growth and fostering generations of citizens equipped for innovation and future jobs.
