US natural gas inventories fell less than expected during the week ending Nov. 28, according to data released Thursday by the Energy Information Administration (EIA).
The data showed a decline of 12 billion cubic feet (bcf), compared to expectations for a decline of 18 bcf.
US gas inventories are 0.5% lower than the same period last year, but 5.1% above the five-year average of 3.732 trillion cubic feet.
