Saudi Arabia issues 95 new industrial licenses in October

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued 95 new industrial licenses in October, while 81 factories began production during the same month.

 

The newly licensed projects represent investments exceeding SAR 2.4 billion and are expected to create more than 942 jobs across various regions of the Kingdom, according to data from the Ministry’s National Industrial and Mining Information Center.

 

Meanwhile, factories that commenced operations in October accounted for SAR 1.3 billion in investments and are projected to generate 1,922 jobs.

 

As of October 2025, the number of existing industrial facilities hit 12,769, up more than 8% from 11,780 facilities during the same time previous year and 12,681 facilities in October of last year, the ministry added.
